10:33 PM Edit This 0 Comments »I think it's official, Mikayla likes the water. This weekend was our monthly Glombowski family dinner. It was our turn to host. My mom, brother Jeff, and his family (Holly, David, & Devin) came (Unfortunately, my brother Aaron and his family didn't come.) After dinner we went outside and played in the backyard. We have a little pool for Mikayla so we filled that up for the boys to play in. Grandma (my mom) also brought an official slip 'n slide (opposed to our O-5 slip 'n slide, which is just a vinyl table cloth.) As the play was getting started Mikayla crawled/walked to the pool and climbed right in! She sat in the pool and played for a while. Today she crawled around on the slip 'n slide and played in the streams of water. I think a water table is in order for next summer!!! Even the big kids had fun playing on the slip 'n slide!
The big kids didn't hog the slip 'n slide the whole time. We did let the little kids on every now and then.
Unfortunately, Daddy didn't get any pictures of Mikayla in the pool, but just to prove she was outside with us here is a picture with her in it.
