Loving Mikayla Grace

I have come to learn that there are many different names for this day, some include Gotcha Day, Family Day, Adoption Day.  I've also learned that there are many opinions about this day.  Some people are for it and others are not.  For those family that do celebrate it, they celebrate it on different days.  We have decided that we will be celebrating our Family Anniversary.  We won't be celebrating this on the day our adoption was finalized because we were a family long before that.  We will be celebrating our Family Anniversary on the day that we became a family, March 7.  Mikayla is a very special little girl and we are so blessed to have her in our family.  March is coming very fast and we aren't sure what we want to do.  We do know that we don't want to do a huge party as some people do.  We also know that we want to keep the celebration among the three of us.  We also don't want to make it about gifts.  We want to save that for birthday and Christmas.  So far some ideas are: indoor water park, hotel with a pool, ice cream cake, and dinner at our favorite restaurant.  Any other suggestions?  Right now it's hard because Mikayla is only 1, but whatever we decide on we want to make it something we do every year.
